On 1 March 2016, at Office of Insurance Commission (OIC), Mr. Jerome Kelly, Chairman of the EABC Insurance working group, paid a courtesy call on Secretary-General Dr. Suthipol Thaweechaikarn.  Discussion included the current issues in market liberalization, foreign ownership, foreign currency-denominated insurance policy, personnel development for underwriting and claims and tax allowance for health insurance. The Secretary General shared his view of improving regulations and approval process, standard policy and international policy. The Secretary General also invited the EABC to join the upcoming event in order to have further dialogue with the private sector.
