29 September 2015 – The President of EABC, Mr. Rolf-Dieter Daniel, together with Mr. Georg Wolff, the Chairperson of EABC’s Rail and Road Infrastructure Working Group led the EABC delegates to meet with H.E. Deputy Prime Minister ACM Prajin Juntong to discuss a potential introduction of European Standards to the Thai railway system as well as backlogs in the rail system in the country. At the same occasion, the EABC submitted its recommendations for Thailand’s railway system development to the DPM ACM Prajin. A possible collaboration between the Thai Government and EABC on technical assistance and training provision for government officials was also discussed.
