Specialised Helpdesk on IPR and Standards
EABC Specialised Helpdesk on IPR aims at providing first-level advisory services on the protection and enforcement of Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) in Thailand to European companies with free information on IPRs in Thailand, confidential advisory services for inquiries relating to IPR in Thailand as well as expert liaison services. The Helpdesk provisions are established with the focus to fill in the gap and offer complimentary/specialised services to the existing business services offered by European Bi-lateral Chambers of Commerce in Thailand.
The Specialised Helpdesk on IPR offers a single point of contact for enquired members and European SMEs for queries regarding both the protection and enforcement of their Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) in or relating to Thailand. The Helpdesk on IPR also provides:
- Relevant materials with legal background on IPR in support of EU SMEs;
- News Alert on latest IPR regulatory and policy developments in Thailand;
- Access to selected IPR cases affecting EU SMES in Thailand; and
- Providing basic support for initial contacts with local law enforcement agencies in Thailand.
