What is EABC Helpdesk on Technical Standard goal?
EABC Helpdesk on Technical Standard aims to facilitate and provide:
- First-level advisory services and relevant materials with legal background on Thailand mandatory and voluntary standard in support of EU SMEs;
- A first instance contact point for enquiry in respect of new/changes of Thai regulation in respect of Standard, TBT1 /SPS2 notifications, registration & accreditation, labelling and conformity assessment;
- Basic support for initial contacts with local law enforcement agencies in Thailand;
- News alert on latest standard regulatory and policy developments in Thailand;
- Access to selected Technical Standard cases affecting EU SMES in Thailand.
